The position will have specific responsibilities for the business development and achievement of strategic and operational goals in a defined region/territory. The position plays an integral role in leading change initiatives necessary to create and maintain the sustainable growth of the organization while adequately satisfying the needs of its customers. The position will report to the Executive Director, Line of Business: Decision Analytics.

Job Purpose:

  • A Line of Business (LOB) is defined as a Business Unit that manages a product line that is relevant for the Group or has the potential to become so in multiple countries, not just in one or two.
  • LOB responsibilities range from strategic planning to functional analysis of new features, to roadmap of go-to-market planning, pricing strategy, pre-sales and support to Sales team so as to close deals or prepare RFPs.
  • The Manager – Global Consultancy will focus on defining, launching, managing and delivering DA products and services to achieve business and product goals.
  • This role requires strong thought leadership in decisioning solutions. This individual will work closely with CIG Global Sales Team, country managers and delivery personnel towards the achievement of common goals and to ensure market requirements are incorporated in product roadmaps and go-to-market materials. Also working in conjunction with Group Operations & IT to ensure software releases support business needs.
  • He/she will support Global or Regional revenue goals through the development of value propositions that match market needs. He/she will manage partnerships and alliances as may be applicable.

Key accountabilities:

  • Daily management of a team of Global Consultants through the provision of leadership, guidance, instruction and direction to ensure adherence to all Business Unit Objectives and ensure all KPIs measures are met. Keep the team focused and on track and working within the defined process flow.
  • Help create a team environment oriented to trust, open communication, innovative thinking, and cohesive team effort.
  • Assist the Executive Director of LoB:IS and DA with development, analyses and implementation of staffing in recruitment, training, recognizing, rewarding and disciplining.
  • Serve as the lead representative for the Liaison team at meetings and provide status reporting of team activities against business objectives, goals and plans.
  • Liaise and develop relationships with customers and other stakeholders such as Regional Managers and Country Managers within Global Markets and serve as a focal point to communicate and resolve any matters with other teams.
  • Suggest methods to improve the business area operations, efficiency and service to both internal and external customers.
  • Core focus to support Creditinfo’s current operations in each territory and future operations cementing Creditinfo’s presence in those markets.
  • Secondary focus to follow up and seek out other opportunities for Creditinfo Group.
  • Working with the local sales team at the Creditinfo operations in the defined territory to build upon their pipelines to further to capitalize on these.
  • Close deals, follow up with customers and be involved in both ‘Scoring; and Business Engine Evaluation (BEE) aspects of delivery.
  • Deliver consultancy to major clients, and lead teams of consultants and other skills in delivering major projects.
  • Create relationships with key clients in the markets where Creditinfo is active, to expand the range of solutions taken by the clients.
  • Provide support in ‘Portfolio Screening’ and ‘Monitoring’ to explain to our customers how to use this internally and how they can run some of the ‘BEE’ processes.
  • Provide local analytics support as and when required.
  • Senior external bodies in supervisory boards and banks.
  • Negotiating, coordinating and influencing with the Group and Affiliate Offices, Data Providers, Banking institutions, lending agencies, and similar entities, establishment and maintenance of effective working relationship with these agencies and other stakeholders.
  • Preparation and submission of status quo and other reports.
  • Representation of the organization at meetings, conferences and other forums as required.
  • Forecast and analysis of external variables of strategic importance to the organization and assurance of their integration in the planning process.
  • Assistance in monitoring and facilitating the effective collaboration between departments to ensure achievement of overall project/programme objectives.
  • Monitoring and assessment of the local economic and political environment in relation to the organization’s product portfolio and recommendation of adjustments where necessary to achieve/maintain a relevant and balanced portfolio.
  • Leading development and implementation of a comprehensive marketing plan, periodical reviews and assurance of alignment with the overall strategic objectives of the organization.
  • Demonstration of strong business ethics in the execution of corporate and personal affairs and at all times strives to project and maintain positive corporate image.
  • Keeping abreast of trends in the financial and related industries and adaptation of their use where necessary to enhance the operations of the organization.
  • Performance of any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
  • Be a global expert for Basel.
  • Highly motivated and self-starting.
  • Very good consultancy, sales, account management and business development skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, relationship and influencing skills.
  • Good command written and verbal of English language mandatory.
  • Previous Consultancy experience preferred.
  • 10+ years Credit Risk Management experience required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or above advantageous
  • French language would be preferable and other languages advantageous.
  • Be based and eligible to work in (or willing to relocate to) specified territory, Barcelona, Spain or Prague, Czechia.
  • Willing to travel 50% of time.
